Before a service call

• Check the thermostat mode and setpoint.

• Confirm the furnace switch and electrical breaker are on.

• Replace a heavily restricted filter.

• Note any error code, unusual sound, smell or recent work.

• Do not repeatedly reset equipment if a safety is tripping.
